Born and raised in Alpena, NASCAR Steve has spent his entire life in Northern Michigan. He moved to Traverse City in 1991 and he started his career at KLT as our favorite Boom Box Driver in 1993. In 2001 He was tabbed to host “KLT’s Pit Stop”, keeping race fans informed on everything NASCAR. In May of 2009 Steve became the host of KLT’s Afternoon Drive and the Work Release Program. He still enjoys ANYTHING to do with racing, automobiles, and rock-n-roll and continues to serve as Northern Michigan’s Ambassador to NASCAR!
Tune in weekdays from 2-7 for the afternoon drive, and Monday’s at 8:35am, and Friday’s at 5:35pm for KLT’s Pit Stop.
