After high school, she immersed herself in big bands and jazz groups while studying theatre and music in college. Laura’s talent journeyed with her from Detroit to Los Angeles, where her songwriting skills further blossomed. She’s contributed to Cher’s “Love Hurts” and Michael Bolton’s “Time, Love and Tenderness.”
More recently, Laura’s composition has been covered by the soulful blues singer Shaun Murphy on her album “Loretta.” In Bob Seger’s release “Ride Out,” Laura showcases her diverse talents by singing “Adam and Eve” duet with Bob.
